Can't install AVG. Why is this error always coming up?

When I try to install the almighty AVG AntiVirus software which sounds really good, I get this message:

Local machine: installation failed

Installation:

Error: Action failed for file avgamsvr.exe: creating file....

No such file or directory

And then it can't finish downloading and I am left without it. Please help me to fix this.

You should disable or uninstall any other antivirus program you have and then install the new one. I've always heard that you should never run two different antivirus programs or they will clash, so maybe avg sees another one present and stops installation.
Avg is crap go buy some real anti-virus like hmm
