Critical System error in windows xp?

was downlaoding while an icon appears at the right bottom corner and it says 'Critcal system error'(flashing and changing from X to ?) and after few minutes another icon apperas next to the first saying 'System Alerts:Malware threats', on clicking it takes me to a web page http://www.virusburst.com/?aff=334... and http://malwarewipe.com/?rid=247...



My internet explorer stop working and on clicking it goes to http://safeiepage.com/ and its not allowing me to go to any other site. I have latest Norton antivirus software

Please remove all of the web addresses form your post; some are infected pages.



Your pc has been infected by a trojan and it may take some work to remove it, after you do you need to upgrade your security.



Theres no guarantee that this will work but its worth a try if you can download the programs;



Before attempting to remove malware you must switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.



Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.
