Recently removed spyware from my stepdad's computer, used avast, spybot, ad aware, avg.

installed firefox and opera- both CANT CONNECT to the net.

Internet explorer CAN connect..

Got rid of annoying spyware popups but the problem is...

When using the internet and check email, I open the emails and they are all blank. tried my mom's login, also blank. tried a diff computer = okay.

I tried reinstalling java. nothing.

disabled script error reporting/debugging = nothing.

my stepdad's H%26R Block TaxCut 2007 software is also buggy and recieves the same message when he uses it.. and its not even on the internet.

Yeah System Restore also shows up BLANK Just a WHITE box.

I'm guessing the anti virus/spyware deleted some files along with the virus/spyware?

Most prob... the antiviruzz has deleted off some files...

any ways... remove all your connections... and recreate the connectiong to your ISP... if that dont work...then i am sorry... last option... format it... it is always recommeneded to format the system after removing your viruzzz...

The best thing to do here is stop using internet explorer.

Get firefox.

www.firefox.com

its free and way better than internet explorer. Just download it at a friends house and burn it to a cd if you can download it at you house. (since you will need a browser to get to the download page)
