you don't mention which trojan you have so it will be hard for anyone to give specific information.

A trick that I've used in the past when AVG stumbled across an infected file that it couldn't delete or quarantine is:

1. Copy the entire contents of the affected folder, minus the infected file (select all, then whilst holding the ctrl key, click on the infected file, then right click one of the highlighted files %26 select 'copy').

2. Create a new folder on the desktop %26 paste what you've copied into that folder.

3. Write down the exact name %26 location of the folder containing the affected file, and then delete the entire folder. (if this doesn't work, check the 'read only' status in properties - it should be unchecked.

4, Rename the folder that you copied the files to, to the name of the folder that you deleted, then cut it, and paste it in the same location as the folder you deleted.

You should now have everything as it was before, minus the infected file.
