What's the best thing to do with old versions of software?

I have old versions of stuff like Adobe Photoshop, Norton AntiVirus, Norton System Works, etc. etc. that are just laying around gathering dust. What's the best thing to do with them other than throwing them out?

Anything that is 5 years older or more.. it is difficult to get an online update for... But it is good to keep if you still have ''classic system'' on any back up computer...

But it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to do sell on ebay or amazon.com; because MANY people out there in universe have OLD computers and need this ''classic software'' and if it all still works-- it is useful to this person. If you have the old type of floppy disks, or those square disks- forgot what they are called-- or even those zipdrive things-- they ARE useful to old timers or newbies in 3rd world countries. There is a website that was started by U2's Bono of all people--- that takes donations of such stuff. Goes to schools in Africa and India..
you dont need to throw away your old copy of softwares. you even need to buy a new one. all you have to do is look for software updates. most softwares nowadays have software updates available for download on the net. for photoshop, try navigating their website at http://adobe.com. click on downloads.
use the discs as frisbees.

they are basically garbage. they are worth nothing to nobody. you're out of luck.

Some of it can still be used by someone. Give it away?
Give them away to local goodwill store or sell them on Ebay.
