PCguard is driving me insane even though it is removed from my system! Can you help?

I used to use Virgin Media's rubbish Internet service, but I don't use it anymore. I tried to uninstall the bundled antivirus software, PCguard, from system and it hasn't worked properly. Even though every file is removed, I get this seriously annoying pop-up for the Windows Installer EVERY TIME I right-click any file or folder:

It's really driving me insane. In fact, it's not even when I right-click. Even when I try to delete something I get this. I even tried deleting some PCguard entries from the registry to no avail, as well as using CCleaner. First solution that works gets a best answer! This is so annoying it's giving me a headache...

Did you go to Control Panel and then Add or Remove Programs to uninstall it? Maybe you should try Eusing Registry Cleaner:

Have you tried re-installing it and uninstalling t again?

If that does not work download a registry cleaner like the one that is included in Tune Up Utilities

Run a reg cleaner and also check the startup entries.
