Do they get money for it? Or are there that many vicious computer-skilled people in the world that you need a gazillion megabytes of antivirus code to hold them at bay in a neverending ''security update'' battle. It seems crazy to me. Why do all these thousands of computer hacks want to screw up my computer?

-They do it for their real life status. Bank account hackers/ frauders are stealing bank accounts for money. They're basically cyber bank robbers.

-Others just hack for fun and enthusiasm. A friend of mine (about 15 years old) knows computer language and writes viruses.

-Some hackers are only targeting virtual items such as GP in online games.
