My PC is really slow about going to some websites?

My laptop does not have this issue. Does having two different types of antivirus software affect this or having webshots on my PC do this? No viruses found either. Is it possible something is running in the background? Please Advise.

Having two antivirus at the same time will definitely slow down your system as they take up memory of your computer, so just use one of them.

There are also other factors that can slow down your system, including your internet surfing, such as a low hard drive space, and low memory.

Close some of the TSR programs that you don't need will free up your system resources. TSR programs are usually those programs which are running at the background, and indicated at the bottom right of the window screen at the Taskbar near the clock. Right click on those icons will usually provide with an exit menu on those programs.

If your hard drive is low on space, try uninstalling programs that you don't need.

Also you can download a program called CCcleaner for free from http://www.download.com. This program will clean up any registry entries that are obselete, temp files, and files that are no longer being used by the system but got left behind when you uninstall a program. Use this program to free up your hard drive.
